Alice Martin

Veterinary Surgeon

Alice began her veterinary life in mixed practice in Herefordshire. After five happy years treating all creatures great and small she decided to concentrate on companion animals. This background in rural mixed practice means Alice is equally at home treating a pet chicken, a tortoise or a dog. She has a particular soft spot for rabbits and guinea pigs….well all the ‘small furries’ as we call them in fact!

She has a keen interest in soft tissue surgery which is complimented by Lizzie’s specialism in pain management.

At home Alice has a typical vet’s menagerie of pets. The latest addition being Flame the bearded dragon. Together with three children and two ponies there are always lots of animal filled adventures to be had.

Alice epitomises the expression of ‘if you want something done, ask somebody busy’!

Alice loves being a vet as much now as when she first qualified.
